Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- September 27, 2012 NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Rich in content and laced with a deep layer of practical ideas to take home are part of the recently-finalized program for the fifth annual Think Tank, hosted by the business thought leadership organization, The Forum: Business Results Through People, in partnership with the Chicago Compensation Association. It happens Wed., Oct. 24 at The Motivation Show at Chicago’s McCormick Place West.
The Forum’s Managing Director Susan Peterson dubs the event the “Think Differently Tank” because the format has been changed to bring participants more ideas and actionable material than ever before. This year’s Think Tank topic is: “Leading the Way: Your Role in Creating a People-First Enterprise.” The interactive format of this year’s Think Tank will prepare participants for leading the way for greater engagement and real results in their organizations.
The two-part program includes a segment, “Turn the Table and Take the Lead,” which will discuss the proven connection between the employee experience and the customer experience, how higher engagement is linked to greater financial results, and the role of reward and recognition. The second segment, “Advancing Total Rewards in a Turbulent Economy,” discusses the challenges facing business leaders in getting total rewards “right,” and outlines strategies to address changing economic and demographic conditions.
The pairing up of the Think Tank with the exciting atmosphere of this year’s Motivation Show – one of the biggest HR and incentive marketing events in the world - will offer participants a wide variety of ideas, products, and services around employee engagement and customer loyalty. Think Tank participants will have entry privileges into the Motivation Show exhibit hall. In addition, attendance at the Think Tank qualifies toward WorldatWork recertification credit.
