Austin Phish Tribute Band Opens Utopiafest

Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- A Live One, based in Austin TX and made up of Josh Pearson, Dan McGreevy, Michael Boyd, and Wesley Haynes, will play for early campers on Thursday night at Utopiafest, a popular music festival in the scenic Texas Hill Country. Called by some a celebration of "the spirit and community of music, rather than the commodity of it," Utopiafest brings together music lovers of all ages in a beautiful setting on the 1,000-acre Four Sisters Ranch (between Garner State Park and Lost Maples).

Other artists playing Utopiafest in 2012 include Dr. Dog, Ben Kweller, Kaki King, Victor Wooten, the Wheeler Brothers, and more, placing the Austin Phish Tribute Band in talented company.

Having returned from their first tour of Colorado earlier in September, A Live One has continued to attract attention as a compelling homage to a band considered one of the greatest live music acts of all time. Next month, A Live One continues to follow in Phish's footsteps with their second annual musical Halloween costume at Antone's Nightclub in Austin, TX, where they will cover another artist's album from front to back (album to be announced on October 5, 2012).
