Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Miami-based KWE Partners Social Media received its second major award this year, a Social Hotel Award from HOTELS Magazine in their first annual SoHos.  The award received was “Best Twitter Promotion, Property” for the Mini Indulgences #TNI Tweetup campaign at Marquis Los Cabos, Mexico.  Honoring best practices in social media, the SoHos were judged by a “who’s who” in the hospitality industry, including David Pavelko, head of travel, Google Inc.; Henry Harteveldt, co-founder, Atmosphere Research Group; Amy Jo Martin, founder, Digital Royalty; Burns Patterson, COO, Middleton & Gendron; Chris Jackson, president, GCommerce; and the editors at HOTELS Magazine.  “Stellar creativity and commitment to this campaign. Just about perfect,” said one of the SoHo judges.

The SoHos come on the heels of the agency’s winning a Travel + Leisure 2012 Social Media in Travel & Tourism (SMITTY) award for the same campaign in the "Best Single Social Media Promotion: Individual Hotel/Resort, Global" category.  During the awards, Travel + Leisure editor Rich Beattie stated, “Innovative efforts like yours are raising the social media bar for everyone in the travel industry.”

The firm developed a "personalized luxury" marketing concept around a series of mini indulgences.  The campaign was launched with a tweetup at the resort for social influencers to generate more coverage and highlight the hotel's different indulgences. Other luxury brands were secured as partners including Virgin America, retailer Luxury Avenue and Hartmann Luggage. Total reach of the campaign was 14 million + impressions, corresponding to 1.4 million+ unique impressions, a record-breaking number for the #TNI Tweetup.  For more details go to the case study at

KWE Partners Social Media also announced two new clients: leading interior and furniture designer for the luxury hospitality industry Adriana Hoyos and legendary luxury sportfishing yacht manufacturer Bertram.  In addition to the brand's social media marketing, KWE Partners Social Media handles consumer and media influencer engagement.  Since beginning with both companies earlier this summer, Bertram and Adriana Hoyos’ Facebook fan pages have grown 118% and 265% and Twitter 36k% and 25k%, respectively.
