Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Capita’s Raising the Participation Age Conference comes at a critical time for you to prepare for the September 2013 deadline, when all young people will be required to participate in education or training until the end of the academic year in which they turn 17.

Hear from the Department for Education on how the new statutory duties build on the current September Guarantee, in promoting young people’s engagement in education or training.

Understand how destination and attendance measures illustrate the effectiveness of learning providers in delivering their statutory duties. Phase 4 pilot areas and experts in their field will demonstrate transferrable best practice in the
following key areas:

- Developing a diverse curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils
- Early identification of students at risk of becoming NEET and effective interventions that combat disengagement
- Implementing effective careers education independent advice and guidance (CEIAG)
- Building partnerships with key stakeholders to aid the transference of data and keep track of all young people
- Ensuring the capacity of provision meets the increased demand from the introduction of RPA

This event is essential for all local authorities, schools, colleges, training providers and employers who play a key role in delivering the Government strategy.
