By: Sow Much Good How to be HOT, TASTY & HEART HEALTHY with Sow Much Good! Sow Much Good’s Robin Emmons gives solid cooking advice from her organization and from the American Heart Association during the Hot, Tasty and Heart Healthy segment at the Southern Women’s Show on Sept. 22-23 at The Park Expo Center. The Southern Women's Show is an experience for women to learn, eat and shop. Since heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year – it is only appropriate that Sow Much Good and American Heart Association join forces and help women fight these diseases. The Celebrity Cooking Stage is the perfect setting to demonstrate time saving recipes and healthy eating. Robin along with Johnson & Wales trained chefs will show great cooking tips and ways to prevent hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity. Sow Much Good was founded to eliminate socio-economic, racial and ethnic health disparities that result from a lack of access to nutritionally dense food products in marginalized populations. Sow Much Good works to achieve food justice through programming and community based initiatives. Come try the Hot, Tasty and Heart Healthy eats on Saturday at 1:30pm or on Sunday at 2:30pm. The Park Expo is located at 2500 E. Independence Blvd. in Charlotte.
