Samuel Lawrence Foundation Supports Innovation in the Arts

American Choreographer, Summer Jones, engages the internet as a fundamental means of developing a choreographic process.
Sept. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- American choreographer, Summer Jones, presented a new contemporary solo at the renown International Ballet Festival of Miami, 2012, directed by Pedro Pablo Peña.  Her work was well-received and encored at the festival's classical gala. Jones looks forward to creating a new duet for the festival's 2013 season.  In this task, since her dancers live in distant cities both nationally and internationally, she'll continue to develop means of developing a rehearsal/choreographic process jest that engages the internet as a fundamental means of communication, learning, and ultimately the generation of live performance art.

The mission of the Summer Jones is to promote the integrity and intelligence of kinetic movement using a foundation of mathematical truths. Through properly aligned, dance movement, healing and recovery can occur.

The Samuel Lawrence Foundation is proud to support Summer Jones in an effort to promote human interaction in micro and macro communities encouraging broader access to art, culture, and science. We fund art/music and science which serves to solve global problems outside the box.
