Women Inspiring Women holds programs throughout New Hampshire that focus on a wide variety of valuable topics, including goal setting and self motivation, time management, effective communication, overcoming burnout, balancing life and work, assertiveness training, financial planning, personal safety, and more. The events are fun and often have a party-like atmosphere, with pink as the primary color of attire. Participants are able to attend seminars by dynamic speakers, peruse different exhibits, enjoy door prize events, get their headshot taken, and shop in the organization’s own boutique. Leslie Sturgeon is the President and creator of Women Inspiring Women. She has been recognized by both New Hampshire Governor John Lynch and the New Hampshire Senate for the hard work she has done with the organization. She has owned Office Options and Association Solutions for the past 23 years, providing office support to New Hampshire's Lakes Region. In 2010, she was given the “Outstanding Women in Business” award for her achievements — one of only six to receive the honor. Her hard work has helped to build Women Inspiring Women what it is today: namely, a valuable and fun resource for women throughout New Hampshire.
