Richard’s Candy Company Introduces New Healthy Fudge Flavors

Sept. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- When Richard D. Terpstra II, owner of Richard’s Candy Company first started his candy company back in 2009, he began with traditional fudge flavors that everyone recognized and enjoyed.  Flavors such as peanut butter, chocolate walnut, butter pecan, dark chocolate with coconut and almond were some of his customers’ fast favorites.  He soon realized that he could offer some “fun Floridian flavors” such as key lime pie, pineapple, orange cream, and coconut rum pineapple which tastes like a pina colada.  Very unique flavors like pineapple firecracker and dark chocolate firecracker give a smooth, sweet, hot-n-spicy-bite, then smooth again tickle to the tongue.  Loyal customer, DeeDee says: "Richard's Fudge is the best. Richard soon realized that some of his customers had various health challenges that kept them from enjoying his traditional fudge flavors.  Much to his customer’s delight and to always stay on the “cutting edge” of the market, Richard began offering sugar-free and vegan flavors of his beloved fudge.  Then to evolve his product even further to provide selections for his health-conscious customers, Richard created his healthiest fudge called “In the Raw” which is a non-cooked fudge using such healthy ingredients like fresh-ground almonds, and fresh-ground peanuts, apple butter, wildflower honey, organic cacao, sea salt, and then rolled in chopped sunflower seeds, pistachios, walnuts & almonds.  Since the “In the Raw” flavors have no added processed sugar, it is the healthiest choice for the many cancer survivors who are looking to have a sweet treat.
