Hannah Grimes Center Offers Advanced Business Training

Sept. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- KEENE, NH  - The Hannah Grimes Center of Keene, NH, is offering two practical workshops for owners and managers of established businesses and nonprofits that have been struggling to develop a strategic plan or to implement and measure successful projects.

According to Mary Ann Kristiansen, Executive Director, "Advanced Business Training allows mature and growth organizations to work on real challenges and gives them affordable access to resources they would not otherwise be able to tap. This fall we are offering two courses and our curriculum will be expanding as needed to meet the needs of New England businesses and nonprofits."  

"Strategic Planning: Plan Your Future/Create a Roadmap for Success" consists of three 3-hour sessions during which participants develop a complete strategic plan, set goals and find out how to make the plan work, measure success and hold their team accountable. The fee for the course is $150 per session. The sessions will be held on October 12th, 19th and 26th.

"Practical Project Management" consists of two six-hour sessions during which participants work on a real project and leave with a plan that's tailored for their company and ready for implementation. They learn how to recognize a good project for their company, identify resources, understand traditional vs. agile project management and work with assessment, scheduling and time management tools. The fee for the course is $200 per session. The sessions will be held on November 6th and 13th.
