By: OC Screenwriters STORY OF WEST MEMPHIS THREE STARS REESE WITHERSPOON AND COLIN FIRTH Clark Peterson, producer of the upcoming film, “Devil’s Knot,” starring Academy Award winners Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth, and which is based on the true story of the West Memphis Three murders and their aftermath, will be speaking for the Orange County ScreenwritersAssociation( “Devil’s Knot”, their latest project, is based on the internationally known story of the savage and brutal murders of three young children and the trial that followed where three teenagers were charged with having committed the murders as part of a Satanic ritual, and the issue has drawn the interest of media from around the world, as many feel there is evidence that points to another suspect.
