Jimmie Van Zant to headline The Doc Holladay Songwriter Series at Barton Perreira in Nashville

Southern rocker Jimmie Van Zant is scheduled to headline a charity event in Nashville benefitting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and the Iroquois Alliance.
 
Sept. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The Doc Holladay Songwriter Series is proud to have all-American rocker Jimmie Van Zant headlining their show at the Barton Perreira store location in Nashville, Tennessee. Jimmie will be performing an intimate acoustic set with all proceeds going to benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt as well as the Iroquois Alliance.

The event is on Thursday, September 27th from 6pm - 8:30pm with additional performances by singer/songwriters Brittini Black, Karen Staley, Cathy Maciejewski, and the host of the event, Doc Holladay.  

Jimmie Van Zant is no stranger to giving back to the community. The Nashville native has an extensive charitable history performing at such events including the Run to the Ridge charity event in Mount Airy, North Carolina and the Thunder Over Thurmond event in South Carolina in association with the Wounded Warrior Project. He has also personally visited the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to play for the children.
