She began singing when she was only 6 years old and was featured on Radio Disney at the age of 14. Shorty after Kelsey's 18th birthday she received an offer from DM Records in Miami to write and record a pop song which assumed the title "Masquerade" HYPERLINK "http://popcrush.com/ Just 3 months after the success of "Masquerade" HYPERLINK "http://www.youtube.com/ Shortly after Kelsey made her move back to Los Angeles she began collaborating with Grammy award winning composer and producer Andrew Balogh. The two decided that given their talent and relationships in the music industry they would produce her debut record independent from a label. Balogh took charge of the production and brought on board one of today’s leading vocal engineers, Andrew Hey, who has worked with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Britney Spears and Whitney Houston, to name a few. Shortly after recording, the song was mixed and mastered at "Bernie Grundman Mastering" by the legendary Bernie Grundman himself. Grundman has mastered records for all of the greats in music including Madonna, Quincy Jones, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and many other clients dating back to Michael Jackson's monumental Thriller Kelsey recently completed the filming of her new music video featuring the single, "Just a Boy". The music video features an impressive sequence where Kelsey dances alongside Kanye West's choreographer Brooke Fields. Both Kelsey and Andrew Balogh are eager to promote their new single and music video to be released this Saturday.
