Akadema Endorser Brandon Barnes Makes Terrific Catch Against The Cardinals

Sept. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Hawthorne, NJ – September 21, 2012 – Akadema endorser Brandon Barnes made a great diving catch against the St. Louis Cardinals, on Thursday, September 20th.  Barnes, who was playing center field, ran back for the ball and then leaped to make the catch, diving back towards the fence.  The Astros were up by 1 in the 1st inning when Barnes made the catch.  Barnes’ catch was featured as one of the top plays of the night on MLB.com.  Barnes, 26, was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma after starting the season in Double-A Corpus Christi.  Barnes made his MLB Debut on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.  Houston in the 6th Round of The 2005 MLB Draft drafted Barnes.  For his career, Barnes has played in 32 games, with a .219 batting average, 6 runs, 16 hits, 1 home run, and 7 RBI’s.  Barnes uses an AMR 34 in all black, with a mesh back and h-web, and is part of Akadema’s endorsement team.
