Nissan Celebrates the Production of the 2013 Sentra

The fourth generation of the Nissan Sentra, which will be available soon at Woodfield Nissan, features a stylish new design, improved safety features, and an upgraded fuel economy. Nissan is putting their fair share of faith in this compact auto, as it will account for roughly half of the vehicles produced at that particular plant, which will also be constructing the Tiida and the Versa.

Nissan executives visited the plant and celebrated alongside the auto workers as the first Sentra was driven off the assembly line with a soundtrack provided by a car horn ensemble and a classical orchestra.

The vice-chairman of Nissan Americas, Bill Krueger, has said that the decision to manufacture the new vehicle at the Mexico plant is a result of their dedication to responsibility and a long-standing history of quality, efficiency, and productivity.

The Aguascalientes 1 plant will produce nine different models of the Sentra for North America, which the manufacturer hopes, when combined with output from the Canton, Mississippi plant, will be able to satisfy the current market desire for affordable, fuel-efficient vehicles.
