Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Experts Provide Preparation for Life Transitioning
(Lafayette, CA, Sept.. 10, 2012)---Doug Paxton, Co-Director for the Leadership Center at Saint Mary’s College and Maura Wolf, teacher in the Leadership Studies Department at Saint Mary’s College will present a program enabling attendees to gain valuable insights into the process of navigating a life transition  and to begin the process of developing (or refining) their vision for their future driven by their underlying values.  This discussion will be sponsored by Mosaic Financial Partners’ as part of their East Bay Open House, October 23rd at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.

Mosaic Financial Partners, a financial planning and wealth advisory firm, specializes in helping individuals and families deal with the financial aspects of a life transition.  Many clients initially seek out Mosaic’s expertise during a time when they are either actively contemplating or are in the midst of a life transition such as retirement, job changes, a “sudden money” event, losing a partner to death or divorce, or the sale of a family business.
“Lack of preparedness for a life transition fosters uncertainty, confusion, anxiety about the future, and can lead to sub-optimal decision making”, says Geoff Zimmerman, who is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Senior Client Advisor with Mosaic Financial Partners. “By contrast, we at Mosaic have found that by helping clients start with a more clearly-defined “vision” of where they want to go, they tend to make better decisions, financial and otherwise, in support of their vision of their future. Through the work we do, and by partnering with experts like Doug and Maura, our vision is to help our attendees be better positioned to successfully navigate a life transition event”.
