-- WOOD RIVER, ILL.—Nissan celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Snug Kids® program during Child Passenger Safety Week this week.
Through the Snug Kids® program, which was launched in 2002, Nissan provides parents and caregivers with the resources to determine which child safety seats fit Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Nissan also offers parents and caregivers with tips on properly installing and fitting safety seats and boosters into vehicles.
Nissan is the only automaker that offers a comprehensive seat fit guide for all vehicles that have a back seat, according to the company’s director of product safety Bob Yakushi. Nissan understands how important child safety is, and dedicates time and resources to finding innovative ways to keep passengers of all ages safe.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Child Passenger Safety Week is the week of September 16-22.
