Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Valencia. Every year, thousands of students visit Valencia to learn Spanish language, improve their language skills and get to know Spanish culture and its customs. The Spanish language schools of Valencia not only offer intensive courses to learn Spanish but also many different extracurricular activities.

The object is that the students learn Spanish, establish contacts with Spanish people, integrate themselves into Spanish society and get to know Spain from the inside. This way the students will learn Spanish while having an unforgettable experience which will bring them closer to Spanish and Spanish American culture.

A Spanish language school recognized by the Instituto Cervantes which is situated nearby the university offers a great amount of different free-time activities. During these activities, the students can learn Spanish, get to know Spanish culture, get in contact with people from all over the world and have a lot of fun at the same time.

One of the most popular and attended activities organized by the Spanish language school Costa de Valencia is taking Salsa lessons.

The lessons are held in a bar nearby the Spanish language school which offers Salsa classes every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, depending on the students’ Salsa level. Our Spanish language school takes part in the Salsa lessons with the interested students on Wednesdays since there are held beginners’ courses. A lot of Spanish language students participate in the Salsa lessons, usually from 10 to 20 students. The classes are held by a professional teacher with years of experience.

At first, the teacher divides the students into two groups: on the one side the boys, on the other the girls and the teacher in between. Then, the teacher explains the Salsa steps and instructs the students. After learning the basic steps, the students get together in couples, practice what they have learnt and dance all night long. In theory, the classes take place from 23 to 1 o’ clock, but often the students extend the time of the class until early morning, enjoying Salsa music, tasty mojitos and cocktails.

Salsa lessons are a great opportunity for the Spanish language students to get in contact with Spanish people and language students from all over the world and to get closer to Spanish culture.
