everyBODY media Launches In-Stadium Sponsorship Media for South Dakota State’s Jackrabbit Sports
A new form of in-stadium media was launched at South Dakota State University Jackrabbit's property in partnership with Superior Uniform Group's everyBODY media division, Learfield Sports Property's and Hefty Seed Company.
Eighty of the Coughlin-Alumni Stadium vendors, including hawkers, ushers, ticket takers and concessions staff, were spotted at the Cereal Bowl on September 15 in blue and yellow uniforms featuring an interchangeable fabric advertising Switch-it® panel. The Switch-it panel was designed to promote a contest sponsored by the Hefty Soybean brand.
More than 12,000 fans in attendance at the first of five home games saw the Switch-it ad panel featuring a Hefty Soybean brand text-to-win promotion. The same vendor uniforms, all embroidered with South Dakota State’s Jackrabbit logo, will be worn at the remainder of the home games, but will feature a different sponsor’s promotion at each game.
The new vendor uniforms were designed by everyBODY media to provide the fans with a unique and memorable branding experience. The same uniforms can be worn at each stadium event, because the fabric advertising panel (the Switch-It) incorporated into the design can be “switched”
“We are very excited about implementing the Switch-It uniform and panel system as it has provides us with new, extremely visible inventory for our sponsors”, said Brad Poe, general manager at Jackrabbit Sports Properties. “This engaging media is visible throughout our stadium for the entire game, assuring our sponsors that the fans will see their promotion multiple times.” Poe continued, “The Switch-It system is also extremely easy to deploy, use and maintain.”
This unique Switch-It media also gives Jackrabbit Sports Properties the ability to offset or even eliminate the cost of an employee uniform program by making the advertising panel space available to sponsors who are looking for a new and effective way to promote their products and services, or to augment existing stadium campaigns. Concessions companies can also use a portion of the space to promote in-stadium food and merchandise deals, ultimately increasing game day sales of their products in the stadium. There are no up-front costs for the sports property and the vendors associated with a Switch-It advertising program.
In addition to sports and entertainment venues, everyBODY media has developed Switch-It uniform systems and business models to suit retailers, grocery chains, convention centers, event venues and quick-service restaurants.
