FERSAL Hotel Group Launches Mission Vision and Reopens the Fully Renovated FERSAL Hotel - Kalayaan

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Quezon City, PHILIPPINES - The FERSAL Hotel Group (FHG) has launched its Vision, Mission, and Values Statement along with the reopening of the fully renovated FERSAL Hotel - Kalayaan in Quezon City last August 30, 2012.

The FHG is owned and operated by the Fernando family headed by Engr. Jesus Songco Fernando (Chairman of the Board) and Elizabeth Salonga Fernando (President). Their children, Jean Fernando (VP for Operations and Marketing) and Atty. Jesus Fernando Jr. (VP for Support Services) are highly involved with the company's expansion efforts.

The FHG manages the FERSAL Hotel chain, which has 6 branches, all situated in key districts of Manila: Annapolis, Cubao (1994); P. Tuazon, Cubao (1995); Andalucia, Manila (2003); Kalayaan, Quezon City (1996); Neptune, Makati (1997); Malakas, Diliman, Quezon City (2003).

In 2005, Mrs. Fernando opened Hotel Elizabeth in Baguio City. This boutique hotel represents Mrs. Fernando's discriminating taste and sense of style. Style arbiter Tessa Prieto-Valdes is responsible for the hotel's luxurious Mediterranean interiors. Due to the success of this 3-time Baguio Hotel of the Year recipient, FHG opened another branch in Cebu City in 2010.

The affair last August 30, 2012 was intimate yet well-attended by FHG's existing corporate and media partners, as well as the Fernando family's close friends. Guests were welcomed with an acoustic set from independent musician Carlos Castaño. The launching event started with a blessing of the FERSAL Hotel - Kalayaan, graced by FHG's officers and the Fernando family. It was followed by an AVP showcasing the evolution of the FHG from 1994 to the present. This was followed by a raffle wherein the lucky winners were treated to a 2-night stay in Hotel Elizabeth in Baguio/Cebu, a 2-night accommodation with breakfast at any Fersal Hotel, and gift certificates to Inn Cafe.  

The event was held in the FERSAL Hotel - Kalayaan branch, which has been fully renovated, and now boasts 3 function rooms: Kalayaan Hall and 2 meeting rooms, one of which accommodates smokers, and features an elevator. Each of the 49 rooms and bathrooms, and Fersal Hotel's trademark restaurant, Inn Cafe, are completely reworked.
