WHO: The Making Strides Walk, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community. The event honors breast cancer survivors, and helps raise awareness and much-needed donations to fund breast cancer research and services, like access to mammograms for women who need them.

Since Making Strides began 20 years ago, breast cancer death rates have declined more than 32 percent.
