Cupcakes and Cocktails” Benefit for Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation on September 22nd

Louisville, Kentucky – September 19, 2012 – The inaugural “Cupcakes and Cocktails for Crohn’s and Colitis” will be hosted at Eclipse Bank in St. Matthews, Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday September 22, 2012.

Sept. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Louisville, Kentucky – September 19, 2012 – The inaugural “Cupcakes and Cocktails for Crohn’s and Colitis” will be hosted at Eclipse Bank in St. Matthews, Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday September 22, 2012.

Cupcakes and Cocktails will feature a signature cocktail sponsored by Brown Forman, four local bakeries providing cupcakes and live music. Kelly K, WDJX radio personality, will be the emcee for the evening as guests dine on cupcakes and hors d’oeuvres while bidding exclusive silent auction items available only at this event. The local bakeries will provide cupcakes for the guest to taste and one large cupcake exquisitely decorated. Guest will have the opportunity to vote for the best tasting cupcake, awarding the winning bakery “The People’s Choice” award. While four local judges; Steve Stratton- CEO of Eclipse Bank, James Brown- Owner of Brown Bakery, Lexington, Kentucky, Angie Fenton- Entertainment Correspondent for WHAS 11Great Day Live and Emcee for the evening Kelly K, will vote for the best presentation cupcake.

The sponsors involved have come together to make an impact in the community. Community sponsors include Eclipse Bank hosting the event, Brown Forman providing the signature cocktail, and Morgan & Pottinger. Bakeries will include Gigi’s Cupcakes, Cake Flour on Market, Sweet on You and Peyton’s Bourbon Cupcakes.
Tickets can be purchased through the event website for $50. All proceeds will benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Kentucky Chapter.

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. CCFA sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality. The foundation also offers a wide range of educational programs for patients and health-care professionals, and provides supportive services to help people cope with these chronic intestinal diseases. These programs are supported solely by contributions from the public.
