The Tripod Foundation Inc. Releases Tickets for the 4th Annual Family Reunion Sunday Brunch

Sept. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- This yearly event is the Tripod Foundation’s marquee fundraising event and officially kicks off our year of community involvement and programming.  Since 2007, the Tripod Foundation Inc. has given $5,000 in scholarship money to college bound students in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.  The family friendly brunch will feature an extensive buffet and several chances to win exciting prizes.  Previous event attendees won tickets to a Rutgers University football game, custom artwork, gift certificates to restaurants, jewelry, signed athletic gear and much more.

Michael Lawson, who serves as the Co-Fundraising Chair says, "This year we hope to expand our circle of attendees to get our new name out there and grow our opportunities to serve the community."  This year, we have also incorporated fun additions to make the brunch an even bigger event.  Michael says, “Listening to feedback from last year's brunch, we have added bottomless drinks to make the brunch even more attractive. Attendees can enjoy themselves and support a great cause."

Tickets are $40/person. Your ticket price includes a full buffet brunch and bottomless mimosas/ non-alcoholic drinks (juices, sodas, tea and water), as well as the chance to win prizes in our famous Chinese auction.  

All tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Midnight.

Mr. Lloyd Freeman (former Chairman) and Mr. Floyd Mitchell (current Chairman) founded the Tripod Foundation Inc. (formerly the Phi Sigma Pi, Alpha Tau Chapter Endowment Fund, Inc.) on February 20, 2007.  The purpose of the organization is to provide scholarships and other types of financial aid to worthy individuals.  It also seeks to maintain and aid social, charitable, educational, and other activities serving the community.  The foundation also assists community groups and individuals in educational and charitable activities.
