Bake Hand Car Wash Changes Format and Name to Lake Forest Express Wash

Sept. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Car washes, like other industries are struggling to meet the needs of their customers in a weak economy.  In May, Bake Hand Car Wash updated their business to save their customers time and money by changing from a hand wash to an automated wash offering quicker processing times for both their exterior and full service wash customers.  In May, Bake Hand Car Wash became Lake Forest Express Wash.

In business since 2001, Lake Forest Express Wash, had proudly offered 100% hand car washing as Bake Hand Car Wash.  Throughout the economic downturn, owner Ron Jones spoke to many of his customers and overwhelmingly heard that time and money were important factors when selecting how to spend their shrinking disposable income.  In response, Jones began making plans to change their facility to a fully automated wash, allowing him to offer lower prices and shorter wash times.

“Our goal is to continue to offer the best car wash results to our customers using state of the art technology and environmentally friendly products and methods,” comments Jones.  He continues, “Equipment and products have come a long way over the years and we feel comfortable changing our business model at this time.”

Lake Forest Express Wash now features a fully automated tunnel, 100% biodegradable products from Qual Chem, and powerful vacuum bays free to use for all express wash customers.  The equipment and products will consistently deliver a clean, quality wash while minimizing exposure to harmful chemicals for the Lake Forest Express Wash workers.  The detail shop, food mart and Chevron gas station are still in service. To further the financial benefit to customers, reduced gas prices are available for people paying cash or with a Chevron credit card.

Business services such as car wash fundraisers, fleet cards and club memberships will not be impacted.  Full wash and detailing services are still available for customers with more time.  “We hope to expand the services we can offer to our customers in this new format,” says Jones.  “However, at the end of the day, it is about clean cars at affordable prices with consideration for our environment, and we will be able to deliver that.”
