Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- The Going Green Film Festival is slated for April 17-19, 2013 at Reagal Cinemas LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles.

The three day event will screen green-produced films, films about the environment, films that feature hybrid transportation, wildlife or third-world issues.

There will also be panel discussions on greening your production, raffling off an electric bike, and more!

Other screenings include classic, cult films such as ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES, TOXIC ADVENTURE, ON DEADLY GROUND or SOYLENT GREEN.

Opening night will feature a FREE special screening of PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE.  Attendees are encouraged to ride their bikes to the event and make use of the free Bike Valet service.

Closing night, top films will be honored, along with "green" celebrities during the ECOtainment Awards.

The GOING GREEN FILM FESTIVAL encourages green filmmaking by rewarding filmmakers who have lessened their carbon footprint on the planet during production, used alternative transportation within the storyline of their films, or have created a film whose subject includes the environment, third world issues, food, wildlife, etc.
