Hawaii DKI Gives Back to the Community thru Charitable Events

Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Hawaii DKI, the state’s largest provider of 24/7 emergency mitigation services following property damage events caused by water, fire, wind and other destructive forces, is proud to announce their support of the POW WOW Hawai‘i Blank Canvas fundraiser.  

The event is taking place on October 6th, 2012 at The Warehouse in Kaka‘ako.  The benefit event supports the organization’s important enrichment programs.  Taking place from 6 to 10 pm, the evening will begin with food trucks dispensing pupus and cocktails, guided bicycle tours of urban art murals in Kaka‘ako, and a street dancing exhibition.   Designers and artists will be on hand to demonstrate their creations and interact with the attendees.

Supporting this worthwhile event is Hawaii DKI.  They will be providing 50 tons of air conditioning to the main building hosting the event.  “Hawaii DKI believes in giving back to the community and we are proud to support the POW WOW Hawai‘i Blank Canvas fundraiser,” stated Hawaii DKI’s Vice President, Raymond Gould.  “This is a great event for the community and an ideal way for us to show that we are not only a disaster recovery service provider.  In addition to helping people and companies respond to fire, water, wind and other emergency situations, Hawaii DKI also offers temporary cooling and dehumidification services for events and emergency situations.  This is great way for us to say thank you to the community.”
