Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Pedego Friday Harbor has opened its doors for sales of Pedego brand electric bikes. Owner Lynn Danaher and her enthusiastic Friday Harbor team —  Ryan, Bennett, Mikial Denker, Theresa Simendinger and Jim Morrison —  introduced the e-bikes at the San Juan County Fair this past August 15-18 in a double-space booth promoting retailers from Friday Harbor’s Surina Business and Retail Park. “Several bikes were available at the booth to see and purchase. Pedego Friday Harbor is already capturing the interest of local residents, who stop Danaher and her teammates with questions when they ride their Pedego electric bikes around town. “Though it’s too late in the season to offer rentals or tours at our Pedego location, we plan to expand next spring.   Meanwhile, bikes are available for purchase.  Plus, we have instituted a pilot rental program at Island Inn, located at 123 West in Friday Harbor. Island Inn’s guests have been raving about the genuine fun they are having exploring our island on a Pedego Electric bike!

Why Pedego? Chalk it up to Danaher’s long history with electric bicycles. For 15 years, Danaher tried other brands of electric bikes, and she was disappointed repeatedly by the companies’ complete lack of customer care. Then, she discovered Pedego Electric Bikes, which Danaher says, “lives up to its reputation for quality electric bikes.” She was finally convinced to open Pedego Friday Harbor when she saw how Pedego takes care of their customers. “There’s no contest between the other manufacturers and the customer service of Pedego electric bikes,” she says. “They work hard to get the orders right, and they’re very eager to please their customers.”  Customers are thrilled about the new possibilities of enjoying the island without the hassles of traffic, parking, and most importantly the non-existent carbon footprint. Gas prices are no longer a concern with this well-made electric bike. Lynn has been riding hers exclusively since May and has saved over $500 in gas. These bikes makes running errands fun, you can get all the exercise you want and need but when its one hill too many, simply press a button and the hills are fun! As one rider quipped, "These bikes make the world flat!"
