Tripwire Interactive Returns to Lead SIEGE
Today SIEGE announced the Tripwire Interactive will have a strong showing at Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo (SIEGE).
“From its early days as a small team creating game mods to its current success and support of the 8-Bit Salute to Veterans, Tripwire has always exemplified the best parts of our industry,” said Andrew Greenberg, president of the Georgia Game Developers Association and producer of the upcoming Noble Armada iPad game. “Not only does Tripwire produce some of the best games in today’s market, but it continually shows itself as a leader in the business of games.”
Tripwire’s involvement with SIEGE includes being one of the main advisers of the SIEGE Investment Conference Friday, Oct. 5, the sponsor of a funding forum for smaller companies seeking investors and host for the famous SIEGE opening night party. In addition, ibtas numerous Tripwire employees sit on the many SIEGE panels on game design and production.

Now in its sixth year, SIEGE features leading figures from a wide spectrum of the game production industry, including artists, programmers, designers, investors, writers, teachers and business executives. Other speakers include government figures, experts on computer game violence, social issues, serious games and more. The event also includes a college fair for high school students looking to learn game design skills, a Games for Health Day @ SIEGE, a game investment conference and many networking events for people looking to enter the industry as well as people already making games.
SIEGE attracts a variety of sponsors, including leading companies, universities and government organizations.
