Sept. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- What A Fan's Fan Man and his production crew recently traveled to Tampa Florida to visit the Buccaneers Fan base. We were welcomed by some of the most passionate fans you will ever meet! Our initial contact was a fan they call Captain Bones, winner of the Buccaneers first annual Buc Olympics and one of the most giving fans you'll ever know. We were then met by Derek "Old School" Fournier, a Hall of Fame Fan and Host of his own radio show called "What The Buc," his popularity was undeniable! As we tried to work our way through the mud and puddles that Florida's weather provided we connected with Buc Nutz and Buc Krazie collectively known as the Buc Wild Boyz...
We quickly realized this was no ordinary bunch of sports fans, these were Super Fans not only representing their Team but also immersing themselves in their community. They had an onsite chef cooking specialty foods, unlimited drinks, amazing deserts and a two level pirate ship float. Live music filled the air, games that were private labeled specifically for them and the Buccaneers starting quarterbacks Father was in attendance! We could stop there and that alone would be impressive, but it gets better.
The Buc Wild Boyz had invited a family of four dealing with some challenging times and they were given tickets to the game and field passes! They took pictures with the Super Fans and Josh Freeman's Dad. All this in the rain!!!!! Tampa Bay Fans blew us away. We have the joy of meeting fans all around the Country, we were honored to be part of this tailgating promotion. We have put together the first of a three part video series based on our trip to Tampa, their passion and charitable interest was heart warming. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNDz9VgQIU8
If you have a story, tailgating event or charitable program contact us at www.whatafan.com and we'll be happy to share it with the rest of the Country! What A Fan is all about Fans, what are you a Fan of?
