-- Pangea Sports Management (PSM) is pleased to announce that Chris Klute of the Atlanta Silverbacks has signed with the Colorado Rapids of the MLS.
Chris who played as a defender for Atlanta will be joining Colorado immediately under a loan agreement between the two clubs; with the opportunity for Colorado to exercise a number of options.
Originally from Grand Prairie, Texas, Chris hails as a player with a great deal of talent. In addition to his experience with the Atlanta Silverbacks, Chris has also played for the United States U-17 men’s national soccer team. “I’m very excited for Chris and Colorado is a perfect fit for him” say’s his agent, Namjoo. He further adds “Chris has a professional attitude both on and of the field and just watching him play, you know he’s something special”.
Chris is a versatile defender who made an impact in almost every game he played. “This is just the opportunity I’ve been waiting for and I’ve been working hard towards this goal for as long as I can remember” said Chris, “Colorado is a great club with a highly talented squad and Denver is a great city; with amazing fans. I’m excited to be part of the team as we look to move up in the standings” he further added.
Chris Klute became a regular starter for Atlanta this past summer and he became a key player as Atlanta went through a major strategic overhaul that was started under interim coach Eric Wynalda. Chris’
s fans can continue to follow him and the Colorado Rapids as Colorado takes on the Vancouver Whitecaps, LA Galaxy and the San Jose Sharks over the next few weeks in the highly competitive western conference.
