Presidential Candidates Battle It out In Medical Hair Professionals Cartoon

Sept. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Medical Hair Professionals  (MHP), a niche medical publisher will launch a series of videos designed to build awareness among stylists cosmetologists and beauty instructors. The first episode of these has already been produced.

The videos are comedic, and exploit the US presidential race concept, in a series of debates which are ostensibly all about hair, and it's crucial role in the American landscape. The videos will eventually feature hair and scalp "Quick Tips."

In the first episode President Obama and Mitt Romney trade barbs about moose versus hairspray.  

Stylists, cosmetologists, salon owners and instructor , are invited to join in the fun by helping to script subsequent episodes!  

Medical Hair Professionals representative  said "Ideally we will engage with the beauty industry and drive the story , regaring our new web site and membership offering through to our community. We have a little time before the election season is over, and we may even have a little time after that, so hopefully the campaign utilizing this concept with these videos will catch some traction."

MHP, a weekly US newsletter and website is  the number one site for hair care  professionals to access medical information that can be used to enhance their careers in the beauty industry.

MHP is the brainchild of Dr. Seymour M. Weaver III.

Dr. Weaver was born and grew up in Houston, Texas.  He attended college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine.  After completing a medical internship at Los Angeles County/USC medical center he went on to Martin Luther King, Jr. medical Center for his three year dermatology residency at a U.C.L.A. affiliated program.  During his time there, his training included inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery preceptor-ships.  He also traveled to Kenya during his residency and spent a month at the Kenyatta National Hospital studying tropical dermatology and diseases.

Dr. Weaver is specifically recognized for his expertise in anti-aging dermatology, treating hairloss and scalp disorders, dermatological laser procedures with capabilities to treat skin of every color, and surgical and non-surgical body shaping procedures.  He has been featured many times on local television as well as nationally and other media.

Speaking inHouston, Dr. Weaver said, "The videos are going to be hilarious.
