Sept. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Run.Walk.Stay is committed to the health, happiness, and safety of your pet. Busy lives can make it difficult to provide the regular exercise and attention that is essential to keep a beloved pet mentally and physically healthy.

Running can be great exercise for many dogs. Clients that have high-energy dogs absolutely love my running service. For them, running is a better option than walking just because it allows the dog to use up the energy that otherwise might manifest itself in other ways, e.g., as bad behavior.  For other clients, walking is the better option due to the breed's nature, health concerns, or physical limitations.

Dogs are not the only ones that need daily exercise. Cats need daily exercise as well. Cats are nocturnal animals which means they are at their most active at night. Training them to exercise during the day will help your cat sleep at night. Just 15-20 minutes a day will help keep your cat happy and healthy. Cats enjoy exercise like stalking, pouncing, climbing and hiding that allows them to mimic the behavior of their wild counterparts.

Benefits of exercise:
•Improves strength, fitness, flexibility, and movement
•Increases energy levels
•Helps decrease stress and can help improve your pet’s mood
•Improves sleep
•Prevents boredom
•Decreases bad behavior
•Prevents obesity

Run.Walk.Stay is dedicated to providing the best care possible to your pet. A free initial evaluation will be scheduled to determine your pet’s exercise needs and also address any questions or concerns you may have. This will enable us to set up a schedule that you and your pet are comfortable with. In addition, for your peace of mind, we are pet first aid and CPR certified.  Contact us today at 561.324.8440 or visit our website at for more information regarding services and rates.
