Sept. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- This year, the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) has returned to the exhibition and Iran has vastly increased the size of their stand. There is also an Australian participation in the Seafood pavilion for the first time, from Indian Ocean Rock Lobster.  The exhibition is divided into nine main sectors, ensuring visitors can easily find products of interest, compare them and talk to their manufacturers.

The event takes place on 17-20 September 2012, at the Expocentre, Moscow. Over the four days of the exhibition, exhibitors can showcase their products in a live environment to wholesalers, distributors, retailers and restaurateurs, to explore the potential of the Russian market.

This year, Thailand is the Partner Country for the exhibition. 20 companies will be participating as part of the Thailand pavilion, to showcase the wide variety of popular Thai cuisine from canned pineapples, to brown rice milk, to energy drinks. The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association is also the sponsor of the Fruit and Vegetable sector.

WorldFood Moscow exhibitor, Damien Beacco, Business Development, Pink Lady Europe, commented, “Pink Lady is a premium apple brand. We have had a stand at WorldFood Moscow for the past few years because we believe that Russian customers are looking more and more for qualitative and premium products. We expect to give to our brand good visibility and contact. We will also meet our partners and find new ones.”

Tony Higginson, Head of Sales, ITE Group plc, said, “We are delighted that so many new international groups are joining WorldFood Moscow this year. For those wishing to grow their presence in the Russian market, participating at the exhibition enables companies to gauge the demand in the market and gain competitive insights. We wish all exhibitors a successful and productive show”.

Alongside the exhibition, a comprehensive and educational business programme takes place. This includes the Retail centre, where exhibitors can directly meet representatives of Russian retail chains, the Food Forum which is divided into different sectors such as Seafood and confectionary products, New Product Showcase and Product of the Year.
