A-1 Self Storage Proudly Supports Fresh Start Surgical Gifts "Surgical Weekend!"

Sept. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced today their monetary donation to the Fresh Start Surgical Gifts “Surgical Weekend.” More than twenty disadvantaged children with physical deformities will receive surgical care and life changing treatment in four short days. Fresh Start serves patients from the United States and internationally, from Europe, Africa, and Mexico. Each patient is coordinated with a surgeon and a surgical team some traveling from great distances to be able to make an impact in the life of the child. The patients undergo a series of pre-exams, tests, and orientation. On the morning of surgery day, the waiting room is a buzz with excitement. Most patients and their families are rejoicing in the positive change that this day will bring and the impact the surgery will have on their future. The coordination of five other like surgery weekends takes tremendous effort. FSSG, volunteering surgeons and medical teams, and volunteers come together and change the lives of more than twenty patients each designated “surgical weekend.”
