Live on Stage: Strumming, Humming, Singing & Picking at the Eighth-Annual Creekside Festival

Sept. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- In less than one month, music aficionados throughout Northeast and Central Florida will have a rare chance to hear and see some of the area’s best bluegrass bands live at the Creekside Festival.  

Held along the stunning shores of Pellicer Creek, the Creekside Festival is an annual traditional that attracts 17,000 guests each year for family-friendly activities, food, arts & craft vendors, live entertainment and more in a serene natural setting.  Bring your lawn chairs, a picnic blanket and some friends because this year’s lineup is sure to entertain, thanks to six lively bands scheduled over two days.

In addition to live music, the festival will feature arts and crafts area with vendors, kids’ crafts and activities, a wide range of food vendors, demonstrations by local artisans and an amateur photography exhibition, as well as kayak, birding and walking tours.  The Flagler Home EXPO will also be part of the Creekside Festival, bringing with it the latest in home-related products and services.

The Creekside Festival will be open Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per carload or $3 with advance purchase from the Chamber.  Visit www.flaglerchamber.org or call 386.437.0106 for more information.
