NEMA 17 Brushless DC Motors- High Performance, Efficiency and Reliability

Sept. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Morgan Hill, CA— September 2012 —Lin Engineering is pleased to announce the official release of their new NEMA 17 line of Brushless DC motors. With a combination of custom windings to meet your application's requirements, high quality components and being manufactured in the USA, this line of motors provides a ton of added value to any project!

This line of BLDC motors provides quiet and smooth operation regardless of speed range; speeds over 4000RPM are easily attainable. The motors are available in four body lengths: 1.7", 2.4", 3.2" and 3.9" and are capable of up to 82 oz-in (0.58N-m) of peak torque depending on the stack size. These motors are also available with a number of modifications as well:

- Shaft modifications like flats, cross holes, and hollow shafts
- Special cabling and connectors
- Spur and Planetary gearboxes
- Optical encoders

The NEMA 17 Brushless DC motors are also great for those who prefer velocity control with an analog input, do not need holding torque and may be having reliability issues with an existing Brush DC motor.
