Taiwan Knowledge Bank (TKB) announces 2 new smart phone applications, which can help Chinese language learners of different ages continue to practice Chinese everywhere they go.

The goal of the app “Art of Chinese Characters” is to help Chinese language learners who want to have a better understand of Chinese Characters. Learners will not only study how words are transformed from images, but also practice the orders of strokes and pronunciations systematically.

User from U.S. “Kingdomend” thinks the App “Art of Chinese Characters” is a “Really attractively designed, really helpful for eager Chinese learners.”

“This is a great app to learn Chinese characters, both simplified and traditional characters,” user Benito Benone who is from Canada. “It gives you really cool paintings with links to the applicable characters.” He continues, “The great part is that it’s easy to see why the characters are the way they are. The app “Ricki & Jacky” is designed for K-5 children. Children can build up their Chinese vocabularies and practice conversations, while interacting with the monkey character Ricki and trainer character Jacky which helps them to pass various challenges.
