By: KeyRocket KeyRocket has designed yet another way to make learning keyboard shortcuts fun with the Shortcut Challenge! This gamification element will further engage users by allowing them to compete with their friends and co-workers. With the Shortcut Challenge, the objective is for users to collect fuel for their rocket and send it soaring. The more shortcuts learned and utilized, the more fuel obtained. Beware of the mouse! Failing to use keyboard shortcuts will enable this eager alien to steal fuel; leaving you in the dust when it’s time for take-off. Users can track their progress, and that of their opponents, via an online profile. About KeyRocket: KeyRocket is software that shows users time-saving keyboard shortcuts, when they use slow and inefficient mouse clicks. The shortcut hints appear as subtle pop-ups, which do not interrupt workflow. Success notifications and a personal progress dashboard increase fun and motivation to learn. KeyRocket supports the Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. With over 1,700 shortcuts KeyRocket covers the needs of most office workers. In the coming months the product will be available for other standard software. About Veodin Software GmbH: The software is developed by Veodin Software GmbH at their headquarters in Berlin, Germany. The company was founded in June 2011 by Matthias Mayrock and Jan Mechtel. The founders formed the team after several years of success in the business consulting and software development. Seed investors include High-Tech Gründerfonds and Michael Brehm.
