Competitive Intelligence & the Deep Web: SCIP Iowa & South Florida Chapter Meetings, Sept. 20

Meeting locations and format
The SCIP Iowa Chapter will hold its meeting on Thursday, September 20, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm CST at the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. The SCIP South Florida Chapter will hold its meeting the same day from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm EST at Citrix Systems in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. (See the SCIP.org website for additional information.)
The unique ‘onsite eLearning’ event combines the best opportunity to both learn from expert speakers and network with your geographical peers. You must attend the chapter meetings in person to benefit from the program and the conversation.
Sean Campbell, co-founder of Cascade Insights, based his competitive intelligence work on many years of working with bleeding-edge hardware and software technologies long before they became mainstream. He received the Catalyst Award from SCIP and co-chaired the Oregon SCIP chapter. Additionally, Sean is a contributing assistant professor at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management, where he teaches industry analysis and competitive intelligence.
Scott Swigart, co-founder of Cascade Insights, informs his competitive intelligence projects with tech industry insights gained from a career that began decades ago and continues today with programmatic social media mining and cloud-based projects. Scott is well recognized for his contributions to the competitive intelligence community.
