Navigating Nature
Hide and seek takes on new meaning as the search for geo caches begins. Campers will experience navigating through the beautiful woods and open meadows of Poricy Park using maps and GPS units. Campers will explore nature with games that will enhance recreational outdoor stewardship.

Full Day: $55 Members; $60 Non-members

Hooked On Water
Bank on having fun with this special camp! Campers will dip into the wonders of macroinvertebrates and will discover how they can determine the water quality by what is squirming in their dip net.

Mother Nature’s Camp
Each day has its very own theme to explore! Appropriate for children pre-K through 5th grade.
Tuesday, 11/6 – Feathers are Fabulous: Imagine being able to fly like a bird! Decipher the uniqueness of bird feathers and how this adaptation is like no other using scientific equipment and experiments as well as field observations!
Thursday, 11/8 –  Animal Crackers: Discover animal behaviors that amuse and confuse us with hands-on activities and games. Join us and see what ‘goofy’ things the animals are doing as we explore the nature trails and engage in exciting activities!
Friday, 11/9 – Amazing Dirt: Did you know that dirt and rainbows go together? Did you know that a little dirt under your bed may have traveled from Africa? Find out more as we hike and explore our mysterious world!
Fee: Register for one or all three – the choice is yours!
Half Day: Members-$38; Non-members-$42
Full Day: Members-$55; Non-members-$60

All community and summer camp programs are run by Poricy Park Conservancy, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Poricy Park is located at 345 Oak Hill Road in Middletown Township. With exceptional ecological resources, the 250 acre historical and nature site makes it one of the largest parks in Monmouth County. The Park offers recreational activities such as magnificent wooded hiking trails, bird watching, pristine pond settings, fishing, and a one-of-a-kind 70 million year-old Cretaceous fossil bed. Poricy Park is home to the 1770 NJ Historic Murray Farmhouse and Barn. The Nature Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
