Seaway Bank and Trust Company Lender Honored

Commercial Loan Officer Terrence Grady of Seaway Bank and Trust Company has been chosen as one of Chicago’s 40 Game Changers for 2012.
 
Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- CHICAGO (September 11, 2012) – Commercial Loan Officer Terrence Grady of Seaway Bank and Trust Company has been chosen as one of Chicago’s 40 Game Changers for 2012. The 40 Game Changers is a special presentation of the Urban Business Roundtable, a locally produced business radio program airing on WVON, hosted by Black Enterprise Magazine’s Executive Editor Alfred Edmond, Jr.

A special recognition ceremony was held in August at the Blackstone Hotel where Mr. Grady was joined by 39 other Chicagoans who are all making significant advancement in their respective fields. The 40 professionals demonstrate promise as a new generation of business and civic influencers.

The 40 Game Changers was initiated to identify and honor Chicago’s most dynamic young executives, entrepreneurs and leaders in the areas of creative arts and education.  The awards program selects 40 Chicagoans – all age 40 and under - who have excelled in their fields. They are evaluated based on a number of criteria, including vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, community engagement, impact and strategies for growth. Game Changers must be based within the Chicago area.

Mr. Grady is Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Lending Department at Seaway Bank and Trust Company and oversees lending to small businesses, nonprofits, corporations and churches. He also seeks investment properties and construction loans for Seaway Bank. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Howard University and a Masters from Roosevelt University. Mr. Grady recently graduated from the Future Leaders Alliance (FLA) Institute offered through the Illinois Bankers Association.  He is the son of Seaway Bank President and CEO, Walter Grady.
