Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Northleaf Winery – Milton, Wisconsin

After acquiring their current location at the historic ‘Alexander – Sunnyview Wheat Warehouse’ in 2007, John and Gail Nordlof decided to have the warehouse restored, which also includes an addition specifically built for the winery in back. This location is also listed in the National Registry of Historic places, which makes it ideal in terms of the environment, as well as representing a time when life was less stressful and a little easier. So, for those looking for a little nostalgia when wine tasting, there really couldn’t be a better choice.

Northleaf Winery is known for its unique approach to wine and wine making. You will discover that all the wines sold at Northleaf have been made on site. They are blended, fermented and then aged in the underground wine cellar located under the historic site. Once the wines have aged perfectly, they are then bottled, corked and labeled on their ground floor facility. You will have a number of wine choices which will include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Merlots and Rieslings to name only a few.

This is a location that has a lot more to offer in addition to the exquisite wines you can select. You will also be able to take advantage of the Bistro & Market as well. This is something quite unique to say the least when it comes to having an all inclusive experience when tasting wines. The market offers a wide variety of delicacies such as fabulous deserts and chocolates made in-house. You will also be able to enjoy a number of soups, organic salads, and sandwiches created using Artisan breads, and to top it off - the spreads used will be Northleaf Winery’s own brand. While enjoying a bit to eat, you may want to look around the market at some of the gift baskets that have been elegantly prepared. If the arrangement isn’t to your liking, you can always have custom gift baskets created while you wait.

In addition to all the above, you will have the option of visiting the tasting room, take wine tours by reservation, select wines from a number of Northleaf offerings, have custom labels created for your wine choices, gather gifts and accessories from the boutique, and schedule private events for your personal use or that of a business nature. For those that would like to keep in touch, or learn more about the wines carried by Northleaf Winery, you will have the option of joining their wine club as well.

For those that have a problem getting to Milton from any of the surrounding areas of Wisconsin, you’ll be able to order selections using phone or fax orders. If you would like to know more about Northleaf Winery and all that this company has to offer, their information will be found below.
