Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Peter Andre launches makedecentcoffee.com on the streets of London

[London, Tuesday 11 September 2012] makedecentcoffee.com has teamed up with Peter Andre to launch its new consumer website dedicated to bringing fresh roast and ground coffee within everyone’s reach.

Peter, well known for his love of coffee, will today be taking to the streets of the capital. He’ll be followed by a make decent coffee skip to encourage coffee drinkers to kick the instant habit and throw away their jars of instant coffee in exchange for a box of real coffee.

And, as with all good revolutions, Peter will be parking the skip outside the Houses of Parliament (Old Palace Yard) today at 10.30am.

Peter says: “Decent coffee comes in many forms but instant isn’t one of them.  For years we’ve been led to believe that instant coffee is the only way. Well not anymore. Making decent coffee yourself doesn’t have to be hard or time consuming. There is nothing like the taste of real coffee, yet so many people needlessly settle for instant.”

Makedecentcoffee.com has been developed with the belief that a decent cup of coffee is everyone’s right.  As well as being able to buy fresh coffee and brewing equipment, the site is packed full of features like downloadable brewing guides, educational videos on how to brew the perfect cup of coffee at home and information about exciting combinations, blends and flavours.

Elaine Higginson, managing director, makedecentcoffee.com, said: “People are getting more savvy about the quality of coffee in their cup as coffee is an increasingly social part of our everyday life. People are even starting to take fresh coffee to dinner parties and events instead of flowers and wine, showing how huge the demand for great coffee at home is. We want to provide consumers with the ability to be part of the experience and make decent coffee.

“We’ve spent 12 months developing this website for everyday coffee enthusiasts to share ideas, knowledge and experience and bring increase awareness about the alternatives to instant coffee. So, we’re urging coffee lovers everywhere to join the revolution and make great cups of coffee.”

Makedecentcoffee.com urges coffee lovers to throw their instant coffee away in favour for a decent blend. Teaching coffee drinkers everywhere that you don’t have to be a trained barista to enjoy a brilliant drink, or settle for the unsatisfying instant coffee we’ve become accustomed too.

Coffee lovers can join the revolution by signing up to the newsletter on www.makedecentcoffee.co.uk following on Twitter @coffeeguerrilla or becoming a fan of facebook www.facebook.com/makedecentcoffee.

Makedecentcoffee.co.uk will be running a 10% money-off promotion for all new customers during September.
