J&M Management Services, Inc. Welcomes Ronda Cox as Director of Federal Programs

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Clarksville, TN -- September 10, 2012  -  J&M Management Services, Inc., a leading Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, and Department of Defense  service  firm,  announced  today  that Ronda Cox, has joined the company as Director of Federal Programs. Prior to her joining the J&M team, Ms. Cox served in various project management capacities for Reston-based Serco Inc. and SI International, as well as SEI Technology, Inc., headquartered in Harrisonburg, VA.
Ms. Cox has provided PMO-level management to projects ranging in size from 25 employees to 1,200 employees for the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense.   In support of Serco’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Records Operations Centers (ROC) contract from 2004-2009, she provided direct supervision of five site managers overseeing records management work valued in excess of $200M during the five-year period of performance. At the USCIS National Benefits Center, she was accountable for all non-site related activities, such as subcontractor management and staffing, budget and financial reporting, contract compliance and the development of all deliverables for the $40M/year contract. Since 2008, her program portfolio has also included responsibility for separate Department of Army (DoA) scanning contracts at the Corpus Christi Army Depot and the McAlester Army Ammunitions Plant. She is a proven leader, and will provide the technical expertise and professional management skills to grow and support J&M’s position as a service industry leader for the company’s federal operations.
Located at J&M’s Staunton, VA office, Ms. Cox reports to Executive Vice President Mike Dousette.  “Ronda’s professionalism, extensive experience with and comprehensive understanding of the Departments of Homeland Security and Defense is a tremendous addition to J&M and a valuable resource to our clients,” said Dousette.  
Ms. Cox’s federal services portfolio includes administrative staffing, records management, scanning, data entry, mailroom, and quality control activities. She has extensive experience with the start-up and execution of Service Contract Act contracts, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is an expert in proposal development, capture management and technical writing, and holds a B.A. in journalism from Radford University. Prior to her career in federal contracting, Ms. Cox held reporter and editor positions at several daily newspapers in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
