Follow on Google News | Neil Gates Announces Apple Education ProgramNeil Gates of Neil Gates Photography is announcing a new range of programs to help Apple users unlock the possibilities their Apple devices hold.
By: Neil Gates Photography The “Get to The Core of Your Apple” program will range from answering simple questions like how to redeem gift cards and update your operating system to full training sessions. “Apple offers so many products that can really make life easier and more fun, it just takes a little bit of learning how to best use them,” Neil Gates said. “I’m excited to open up those possibilities and help Naperville Apple users get to the core of Apple technology.” Gates will offer One on One training for individuals looking for a full Apple tutorial. The One on One sessions require a one-hour minimum and can be conducted in the client’s home. The “Core” program will also feature free mini-seminars for local businesses that can be tailored to the employees, clients or group members in attendance. “Technology can be a help or a hindrance if you don’t know how to best use it. These trainings can help everyone from parents and grandparents learning how to save and edit family photos in iPhoto, to employees learning tips and tricks on products and apps to make working more efficient,” Gates said. Gates also hosts a meet-up for new Apple users each month. Gates’ “New To Apple” meeting is scheduled for 8am-9:30am, the first Friday of every month, and is located inside the soccer dome located just north of the intersection of Rt.30 (Hill Ave) and Rt.34 (Ogden Ave), on Hill Ave. The new user sessions provide a more calm learning environment than the crowded Apple stores. Gates has also launched a blog to answer troubleshooting questions of local Apple users. The blog can be viewed at: http://gettothecorewithneilgates.com/ Training and troubleshooting are available on the following Apple products and programs: iMac, iBook, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iPad, iPhone, iTouch, iPhoto and iMovie. Gates plans to offer the program to residents of Naperville and the Western suburbs. Neil Gates is the owner of Neil Gates Photography, a family photography studio in Naperville.
