Finalists announced in the Online Shopping & Fashion Awards 2012

Sept. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Hundreds of stores and blogs have been nominated by the public as their favourites in Australia's first ever Online Shopping and Fashion Awards. The finalists across thirteen categories have been announced and it's now up to the public to vote again for the winners.

The website hosting the awards, http://thefashionguide.com.au is dedicated to covering the best in online fashion for Australian shoppers including the best stores, sales, outfit inspiration and hot products.

Krista Hochwallner, editor of The Fashion Guide, says “Consumers are spoilt for choice more than ever in the online space with literally a world of stores and inspiration available at our fingertips. We want to recognise the best of the online fashion stores and blogs out there with the Online Shopping & Fashion Awards. We’ll also be using the nominations to help create the ultimate directory of the best online stores and fashion blogs. Australia’s fashion savvy online shoppers have nominated their favourites and it’s now over to them again to vote for the winners.”

Among the finalists are many of the overseas e-tail giants including ASOS, Shopbop, Victoria’s Secret and Net-a-porter, but local stores haven’t been forgotten with a number of well known and boutique Australian stores listed among the finalists.

Voting for the winners is open now and closes 14 September 2012. Those who vote will go in the draw to win $250 to spend at the online fashion store of their choice.
One winner, two runner’s up and a judges choice in each category will be announced on www.thefashionguide.com.au on 24 September 2012.
