This application not only allows American Medicals to provide quality equipment, but also allows us to further personalize our service by manufacturing products tailored to our customer's needs.

Using our new online application to design your custom medical fiber optic cable is a simple, seven step process.  It lets you choose your own Proximal and Distal Connectors (ACMI, Circon, Dyonics, Olympus, Pilling, Storz, and Wolf), cable bundle size, cord length and connector angle, reinforcement and cable sheathing color. The result is a graphical representation of your cable, including the custom cable part number.

American Medicals has also taken this design application one step further with the implementation of optional custom laser engraving. Now the end-user can add a company logo, department name or clinic name, etc.  to the custom designed cable. This feature will also allow customers to designate cables for specific applications such as endoscopy or connections with certain types of light sources and headlights.

There are more than 19,000 combinations of light cord styles, lengths, reinforcement types, and end tips.
