Vistage to host CEO Member/Guest Workshop

Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Vistage, the global organization which pioneered the concept of peer-to-peer CEO groups, will host a “CEO Member/Guest Workshop/ Lunch” on Tuesday, September 18, in Mattapoisett, courtesy of one of its regional chapters.
Dan Barnett, a sought after speaker for Vistage and other leadership groups around the world, will conduct a workshop, “Make or Break Execution---The Core of Success” for members and guests.  The workshop instructs on how to actively lead an organization to insure superb execution of vision without being consumed by the details and the urgent "alligators" that business owners face daily.
The event is open to CEO guests of Vistage members plus other company chief executive officers interested in hearing Barnett’s presentation or learning more about Vistage. The Workshop/Lunch is hosted by Vistage CEO Peer Group #3339, which is comprised of members from eastern Rhode Island, the Massachusetts South Coast, and the greater Boston area. The Vistage mission is “Dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of chief executives.”

Barnett’s presentation is an interactive workshop which details an easy-to-implement process for keeping your company's performance on track to your vision all the time. Areas covered include:

Barnett is CEO and owner of The Primavera Company, a small real estate and energy company with operations in Nevada, California, and Texas. With more than 35 years in business, Barnett has headed companies for some of the world's leading corporations including Nestle's, Pillsbury, Weyerhaeuser, and Constellation Brands as well as running smaller private companies. Barnett was the youngest officer of the Pillsbury Company and after a tripling of the stock price of Constellation Brands, where he was president and CEO of the wine division. He served for seven years as Chief Operating Officer of Vistage International. He earned his B.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno and his MBA from the University of Maryland.
