Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Lucy Prescott, who joins from the Ramada Plaza Southport, will be responsible for managing events at the much-loved venue following the refurbishment of its conference and meetings facilities.

She said: “I am delighted to have the chance to work with a venue which has such a rich heritage. It is a completely different experience to working with a large, new build hotel and I love the fact that every room has its own story. We welcome both members and non-members who benefit from our very competitive club prices for food and drinks, room hire and bedrooms. We have many established clients too, who use the club on a regular basis, and I hope to see lots of new faces coming in for events over the coming months.”

Set within an elegant Georgian building, The Royal Scots Club offers an intimate venue with friendly service, superb technology, free wifi and modern facilities which can cater for up to 200. With a choice of rooms and packages, the venue is ideal for everything from gala dinners to board meetings and corporate lunches.

The Royal Scots Club, which recently celebrated its 90th anniversary, also boasts 23 luxury en-suite bedrooms and drop in spaces for business people looking for a location for a small meeting or private working.

Throughout September the club is offering a special summer day delegate rate of just £29.95. To book or find out more, call Lucy Prescott on 0141 556 4270 or visit
