Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- The Philippine Australian Alumni Association (PA3i) has partnered with the Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, Inc. (ANZCHAM) and the IDP Education Pty. Ltd., in mounting a job matching event exclusive to Australian and New Zealand alumni in the Philippines.

The job fair will be held on Saturday, 8 September  2012, 1-5 pm, at the IDP Training Center, 7th Floor, Dona Salustiana Tower, 104 Paseo de Roxas, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

ANZCHAM Vice President for External Affairs Mr John Casey said their chamber believes that now is the most opportune time to actively promote and build education, training & labor relationships between the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Some 20 Australian and New Zealand companies have registered to participate.

"As we will showcase our top member companies who are looking to expand their talent pool and fill their current job vacancies, alumni can take advantage of this event to network and expand connections and relationships with Australian and New Zealand companies," Mr Casey said.

PA3i National President Mr Arvin Yana, on the other hand, said that "while most of us at PA3i are employed or engaged on various fields, it always pays to check on what is out in the job market for us, specifically the Australian job market in the country, so that we may choose to diversify our career options."

Mr Yana said that aside from job opportunities, this would also be another perfect time to reunite, network with fellow alumni, and even make business opportunities or partnerships.
