GoConvergence Helps Launch New Space Shuttle Pavilion at Intrepid Sea, Air &
Space Museum

Orlando, Fla -- September 5, 2012 -- Orlando-based creative firm GoConvergence
announced its completion of a project within the new Space Shuttle Pavilion at the Intrepid
Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.

The Pavilion, which is located on the flight deck of the Intrepid Museum, opened to the
public on July 19th and is now the new home for NASA’s first space shuttle, Enterprise.
Enterprise was NASA’s very first space shuttle and the inspiration and prototype for the
shuttles that followed. The Pavilion emphasizes the story of the Enterprise as the 1976
prototype space shuttle orbiter and illuminates its relationship to NASA’s historic role in
experimental aircraft throughout the twentieth century.

GoConvergence created multiple graphical exhibit pieces for the Pavilion including both
grand entry and exit walls and a 38-foot long by 17-foot high observation platform that,
among other things, allows guests to get up close and personal with Enterprise, virtually
nose- to- nose, and get spectacular views of the entire orbiter.

In addition to the exhibit fabrications, GoConvergence worked with the Intrepid Museum to
develop a Sponsor a Star donation wall with interactive kiosks that display special
animations for donors that support the Project Enterprise initiative, a program that helps
provide funding for programming surrounding the shuttle and will also go toward a
permanent home for the shuttle.

With the exception of the viewing of Space Shuttle Enterprise, one of the highlights of the
Space Shuttle Pavilion is a 7-minute film located at the Observation Platform Theatre. The
film traces the early history of manned flight through the development of the first prototype
orbiter Enterprise followed by the space shuttle program and beyond. The film entitled
“Tests of Time“ was produced by GoConvergence and narrated by legendary Star Trek
actor and director Leonard Nimoy.

“GoConvergence proved to be a great partner to work with in connection with this historic
project, supporting Intrepid’s exhibition of Space Shuttle Enterprise,” stated Intrepid
Museum President Susan Marenoff-Zausner. “Their team’s expertise, creativity and
flexibility helped us create a dynamic and interactive experience for our visitors throughout
the Space Shuttle Pavilion.”

“We are thrilled to have been asked by Intrepid to help tell Enterprise’s illustrious and
historical story to their guests,” stated GoConvergence Chief Creative Officer Kenny Taht

“The opportunity to work with such a passionate team at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space
Museum and the ability to work on such a prominent project that has such a global interest
and historical significance has been a true pleasure for me and my team.”
